QbD1200 Virtual Demo of Paperless Reporting

Welcome to the third virtual demo of the QbD1200 where we cover the paperless electronic record reporting feature.
The first step is to configure your network settings. This typically will only have to be done one time and you may wish to enlist the help of your IT team.
From the home screen, go to Instrument Setup and Systems Settings and Network.
Now choose the SFTP tab and enter the IP address for the server you want to send your report to.
Choose the protocol — either FTP or FTP Secure, depending on your server — and enter the username and password for the server.
Test the connection. Note the green check. It gives you reassurance that you have a good connection. Once complete, save the settings.
Once they're saved, you should not have to adjust the network settings again.
Let's go back to the home screen. Now we're ready to send some paperless electronic reports.
From the home screen, select Reports and Data. Then choose the report type. Here we'll choose measurement data.
Now we can filter the report. In this case, we'll choose all measurement data from all dates. Choose the report type and then the output.
Here, of course, we'll use the Paperless Export.
It will ask us if we want to start transmitting the report and then show a status bar of the transmission over Ethernet. Once complete, you'll get a message telling you it's complete.
Now we can go back and choose a different report type if we want.
So we'll go back to that Select Report Type screen. Here we'll choose a calibration. The next step is to filter it.
Now we'll choose calibration data from the last month.
Once again, select the report format style in the output, selecting paperless electronic record output.
Start the transmission . . . and the transmit is complete.
If we go back to the Select Report Type step, you can see that all types of qualification routines and measurements are permanently stored on the QbD1200. The paperless reporting feature is a nice way to send these over a secure protocol to a central server which allows you to keep all auditable electronic records in a single place for easy retrieval.
